A good shake

source: Morguefile
While you are telling your name and job during an introduction, you usually have an opportunity for a handshake.

Talking about body language is a much more extensive topic to cover than spoken language. The former seems to be internationally applicable as it does not use misunderstandable words. Still, it is maybe more culture dependent than spoken language.

The British are thought of as quite isolated people - and they really are. This is how a Russian blogger sees them. Click here to read more about the British etiquette of handshaking.

Austrian people however like shaking hands in the morning when they meet or even when they leave the meeting. What's more, children shake hands with their teachers before they start the lesson.

In Russia however, men don't prefer to shake hands with ladies. This link tells you more about his.
